REVIEW: The Online Coaching Show Blasts Out of the Gate with Incredible Energy!

by: Morgana BraveRaven

Insightful & Dynamic, The Online Coaching Show Blasts Out of the Gate with Incredible Energy!

At the end of the first live coaching session put on by the Online Coaching Show’s Janet Legere and Jean Hudson – the room fell gently silent. Even the text chat was quiet as participants quietly contemplated the coaching event that they had just been a part of; everyone seemingly needing a moment to process the information, and the insight. Even through the technology, a sense of awe prevailed as though they had all been sitting around a circle in comfy armchairs and over-stuffed sofas, facing each other as they chatted and sipped hot coffee while attending a live group coaching session together in the same location.

But that was not the case. The venue was not a location per se, but rather a virtual location; an online classroom where participants communicated with both the coach and each other using VoiP technology and text chat. Some participants were in the same city. Some were in Canada, others signed in from the US, and across the globe - but you never would have known that at the end of the session. You could literally feel a big group hug when the two hour session came to a close.

How can you feel a group hug when the participants are thousands of miles from each other?

I don’t know – and I can’t explain it, but believe me, the energy binds you together as a group, and you do feel it. Even though they couldn’t see the other participants. Even though they couldn’t read their body language, and even though some participants communicated strictly with text chat while others used a microphone – there was still an incredible sense of unity and inclusion, of one-ness, while they worked through issues common to us all, with the graceful guidance of coach Jean Hudson.

Personal Coaching is something that we have all become extremely familiar with recently. It’s everywhere, and suddenly everyone is jumping into the coaching arena. And let me tell you, though I’m sure you’re aware, one-on-one personal or business coaching can set you back a pretty penny, often upwards of $400 per session, thereby making it inaccessible to those on a tight budget. And yet that seems horribly unfair – tight budget or no, everyone deserves to reap the benefits of personal coaching. Everyone deserves a bit of guidance, a little help fleshing out a speck of insight, a little guidance while forging towards the Ah-Ha! moment, that singular moment when Ping! the light comes on and a life, a business, or both, are turned around. And let me tell you the Online Coaching Show delivers the Ah-Ha! moment in spades, and with a little more than you can expect from traditional one-on-one coaching.

I remember when I was finishing up university, I had been at it for so long, I was really tired of it and I just wanted to be finished. In my last year I took half of my courses on campus and half by correspondence. I thought I would love the correspondence courses because they would give me more time at home and less time on campus, but was I wrong. I hated the correspondence courses because all I got from them were the thoughts of one mind – mine. Unlike the classes I took on campus, which were ripe with discussion and the insights of fellow students, correspondence courses seemed flat and boring with only my own mind to explore the material. And in that same light is the Online Coaching Show.

It is almost impossible to solve a problem or make a life change with the same mind that created the problem or the mind that is not clear or unsure of how to proceed – but the Online Coaching Show brings many minds to the table. Not only do you get the benefit of Jean’s many years of coaching experience, insight, and expertise, you also get the insights and input of many individuals - a room full of participants from all walks of life that share feelings, challenges, and experiences that are common to us all.

In my opinion you are not going to get more insightful bang for you’re Ah-Ha! Moment buck anywhere. Attendance at the Online Coaching Show includes a two hour workshop which dedicates half an hour to a volunteer, then opens the room for group participation. At a mere $24.97 USD per session – you are not likely to find better value or experience for your coaching dollar, and the value doesn’t stop with just the session. The session is followed by exercises and a recording of the session so that you can revisit the experience to listen and learn with fresh ears.

The next Online Coaching Show has been scheduled for Monday, February 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm eastern time. Dynamic, Driven Duo Taking Technology to New Heights

Calgary, Alberta January 14, 2005 – Author and leadership coach Jean Hudson, of execuCoach International in partnership with Janet Legere, founder of Sykaro Inc., both of Calgary, have joined together in a multi-media online production that promises to be the most innovative use of the medium in recent history. The launch of The Online Coaching Show in the Contact List Builders state of the art virtual seminar facility in February promises to make Internet history. The pair will share hosting duties during the 90-minute online show, which will feature a volunteer willing to be coached in real-time towards personal and business excellence.

“It’s an idea that’s time has come,” claims Legere, who founded her online business over five years ago.

“We are bringing our passion for enriching people’s lives through coaching to a whole new level,” adds Hudson, “The Online Coaching Show will allow us to reach so many more people around the world.”

The show will be a mix of modern technology, traditional radio and expert advice with an element of reality television thrown in for good measure. All shows will be presented live in the online showroom in front of an audience of up to fifty people.

While the conference room will hold up to 250 people, the duo has decided to limit the size of the audience to fully allow for audience participation and interaction.
